Accounting is fun. I swear. Also, I’m bored. AMA. LC500 for fun.

Cavs or Golden State?
If you could change one physical trait about yourself what would it be?
Teleportation or Telekinesis? Which would you pick to have and why?

Accord Euro-R or Torneo Euro-R?
They're mechanically identical, if that helps.

Golden State -not only are they better, but I love Steph, and am originally from California and he closest NBA team to us is the University of Kentucky
When I grow a beard I want a thicker mustache
Teleportation- I love driving but hate traffic so much. I could commute anywhere and live anywhere.

This is my life. I swear I do accounting and the teachers send it to the companies.

I like the spoiler on the Accord(adds horsepower obviously) but I like the darker tailights on the Torneo. So both?

Ha!
Oh so here’s my question. My wife and I are planning to go to a Vols game this year. She wants us to go to the Bama game but I dunno if it is sold out or how much tickets would be. That being said, what are some decent sections to try and get seats?

Is your internship with a corporation or an accounting firm?

Anything in Neyland is fantastic. There is not a stadium in the world that has you more on top of each other then Neyland. I would spring for the lower 2nd level though. the higher 1st level take away some of the atmosphere but if you can really afford it go low. So worth it. If you've never seen a game there your mind will be blown at the atmosphere.

One of the big 4 accounting firms.

The Torneo is also usually quite a bit cheaper, for some reason. Not that it matters for 9 more years because 25 year law.

I still want my Multipla first.

Nice! I did mine with Deloitte and the manager blindsided me on my final evaluation so they didn’t offer me a job, which turned out to be a blessing since I went to work for a small regional firm. I feel it was better for me in the long run

No, neither of us have been before, so wanted to treat ourselves. We’re both excited to get the chance to see it. Hopefully we can get something in those first couple of sections. Thanks for the info!

I really like where I’m working so far. I plan on going into advisory and the firm I’m working for has the longest advisory practice of the big four so you probably know which one I'm working for. I like them so far but that sucks you got shafted. What practice were you in?

It was forensic and dispute services. I figured out halfway through that I should have some auditing experience before I did that so I would have had to interview again anyway. I currently am a bank auditor which I enjoy. I’ve been in three years so we’ll see how long I stay public accounting.
The best advice I can give you is be weary of the corporate politics and get the CPA exam out of the way before you start working (if you are going that route)

I think the Multipla becomes importable a couple years before these. The earliest Euro-R’s I’ve come across browsing Goo-Net and auctions are from mid-2000. I don’t know why I keep torturing myself like this.
Kinja’d again, but at least I replied to the right person this time :P

2Jz. Even naturally aspirated it sounds great, feels great, and it's so reliable. Also there's the fact that it's not in every car ever.

Luckily advisory is pretty straight forward from what I’ve seen. Not too much politicking.its a nationwide practice so you don’t have all the office crap nearly as much. Also I’m going to try to take advantage of the size of the firm and do a couple years abroad

I second jvirgs advice. Get the exam done and over with ASAP. If you can afford to take time between graduation and your career, it might be worth considering.
Everyone’s situation is different but speaking as someone who is 8 years into public accounting and trying to juggle work and the exam, you want that monkey off your back as soon as humanly possible.

I can't think of a better city in the south really though. It would take San Francisco to even start debating

I like Atlanta. Heck, I love Memphis too but we have such a high crime rate and our pubic schools are garbage. Culturally, I think Memphis and Nashville are equally as good. Nashville is just so much more safer.

I think Nashville is better set up too. Between Broadway, Nissan stadum, bridgestone arena, and the gulch you can't go wrong here

Lol just realized that I said pubic schools instead of public schools
